Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan supports up to two veterinarians with full access to the core PMS — scheduling, clinical records, invoicing, inventory, certificates and audit logs. No credit card required.
How do paid plans work?
Start on the Free plan and upgrade whenever you are ready — there is no separate trial to sign up for and no long-term contract. Basic ($29/mo) adds the client portal, CRM, online booking and AI tools; Premium ($79/mo) adds advanced analytics, compliance and clinical depth. You can change plans any time from clinic settings.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time from your clinic settings — changes take effect at your next billing cycle, and no data is lost when you move between plans.
Is my data secure?
Every clinic gets its own isolated workspace using PostgreSQL Row-Level Security. All traffic is encrypted (TLS), audit logs are append-only with before/after diffs, and role-based access controls are enforced at the API level. You can also export or erase client data on request for GDPR compliance.
Can I import data from my current system?
Yes. Activet includes a CSV import wizard for clients, patients and products, so you can bring across your existing records. For larger migrations from another PMS, our team can help — reach out via the contact page.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly by card. There is no setup fee and no annual commitment — cancel any time. Enterprise customers can arrange invoicing and custom terms.
Do you support multiple locations?
Yes. Multi-location management — centralized controls, per-location permissions and consolidated reporting — is available on the Enterprise plan. Get in touch via the contact page and we will set your group up.
